Drawing on the large collections of botanical art and rare illustrated books at the New York Botanical Garden, this book provides a selection of highlights, but oddly the sources of the illustrations aren't cited on the individual pages. The sources are indeed given in the chapter headings, but it is inconvenient to have to consult the prelims to find the source of the image.
