Price: £80.00

Quantity: 1 available

Book Condition: Good

Ex-library copy bound in C20 library cloth, with library label overstamped and a few small library stamps; three bookseller's catalogues and a 4-page Prospectus for the author's Tenures of Kent bound in at rear; also bound in is a folded letter addressed to 'Messrs Nichols & Son, Gentleman's Magazine' postmarked Canterbury and dated October 27, 1837. Tipped into the text are printed slips taken from catalogues, which serve to augment the main bibliography. Despite its sojourn in a public library, the book is little worn and almost unmarked save for a few neat handwritten annotations in the section on maps and occasionally elsewhere. Some foxing of the index. xiv (including list of subscribers), frontispiece (samples of autographs of eminent Kentish writers), 360 pp. plus catalogues (32, 8 and 32 pp).
