Staples sl. rusted, cover soiled, with illustration of a wispily bearded Carl Rosa by E.H. White. The story of each opera is summarised in one to two pages, along with brief details such as date of first production and name of librettist(s). 28 pp.; a rare imprint by a provincial printer for Britain's oldest extant opera company, long based in N.E. England. Undated, but a reference to the company having existed for 'over seventy years' together with the known date of its foundation suggests a date of c. 1925 for this pamphlet.
